We are an experienced and reliable commercial, residential and industrial electrical contracting company in the East Tennessee area. We have built many strong relationships with some of the areas best general contracting firms. We strive to provide excellent customer service with courtesy and trust. Our knowledge and experience provide stability and consistency, and our company values ensure honesty and integrity.
Allen Edmondson began the company in 1977 with a few residential customers and a few commercial contracts. He developed it into a company that is strong in both commercial and residential knowledge and ability.
AHEEC Inc. is licensed in the State of Tennessee, the City of Knoxville and the City of Oak Ridge. We are fully insured, abide by all city, state and national codes (NECA), and perform work that is done efficiently, quickly and correctly.
We take safety seriously and make it a priority. Our employees receive regular safety training and our employee handbook provides guidelines. Weekly toolbox talks are enforced on all jobsites and our employees participate in OSHA safety training, first aide classes and equipment safety training.
BJ Best, President
B.J. has been with AHE-EC, Inc. for nearly 20 years and is the chief commercial estimator and schedules the commercial crews. Customer care is important to B.J. He knows that happy customers are returning customers.
B.J. loves the outdoors. He loves camping with his family and spending time fishing. One day we might give him some time off to go.
Chip Wells, Vice-President
Chip has worked for AHE-EC, Inc. for more than 35 years. He began his career in residential wiring and has remained true to his original path.
He bids most of the residential electrical work and oversees the residential crews, keeping them on schedule.
On those days when he is not working, you may find him hunting. If you don’t see him in the woods, he is probably fishing.
Gary Cate, Commercial
Gary has worked for AHE-EC, Inc. for over 40 years. His career began with a 4′ stepladder in the back of his Volkswagen.
He still prefers the hands on approach, so you will see him in the field more than you will find him at a desk.
When he is not at work, he is still working. He fills his “leisure” time with chainsaws and log-splitters.
Allen H. Edmondson, Founder and Project Manager
Allen has “retired”, only spending a little over 40 hours a week on the job instead of 50 to 60. Allen began AHE-EC, Inc. in 1977. He built a company that was steady in residential and commercial wiring while earning the reputation of being a fair and honest businessman.
He has seen many construction companies grow and thrive through the years and is now working along side second and third generations.
Outside of work he enjoys….when we find out we will let you know.
